Mr. Steine Graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law, in Spokane, Washington. Mr. Steine is admitted to practice law in Colorado. During his 25 years of practice, Mr. Steine has tried felony jury cases, handled complex civil litigation, and represented clients in appellate courts, including in the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Steine has worked in many areas of the law including personal injury, criminal defense, divorce, bankruptcy, civil litigation, international and immigration matters, real estate transactions and litigation, business formation and contract law.
In addition to practicing law, Mr. Steine is an instructor at the Community College of Aurora and has taught students about the law since 2009.
Mr. Steine has also volunteered in the Aurora Community for several years. Mr. Steine served as the President of the Aurora Bar Association. He has also served as the Chair of the Aurora Citizen’s Advisory Budget Committee. Mr. Steine was a Member of the Board of Directors of Leadership Aurora, was the Chair of the Spirit of Aurora, served on the Aurora Chamber Foundation, and was the Vice Chair on the Aurora Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Mr. Steine served on the City of Aurora’s Blue Ribbon Panel and worked with the City of Aurora and the Aurora Police Protective Association in monitoring compliance to a legal settlement.
Mr. Steine was a candidate for office in Aurora, and has worked on, and managed, various political campaigns in Colorado and Washington State.
